On my last visit to Japan, I had several inspiring and moving experiences. Upon driving through Fukushima, and seeing the abandoned towns which were devastated after the notorious earthquake and tsunamis which damaged their nuclear plant, I wept. Fukushima is stunning! People had beautiful lives there, many of which were lost. I also visited the lovely town of Watari, in the Miyagi Prefecture. Watari was also severely damaged by a tsunami caused by the earthquake in 2011. Hundreds of people were stranded in a school but were airlifted from the roof by Japanese military helicopters. The tsunami covered 47% of the town's area and 305 residents were reported killed or missing. Being in these places held such intense energy, much of which was actually full of beauty and hope.

The central circle has a special effect print, clear satin coating, while the rest of the graphic has a matte finish.
